Hello Again

Well, I bet you weren’t expecting to see my words again in this blog and yet here they are, shocking you with the numbing realization that JordanWorld does indeed continue when the blog-space is empty.  I’m back on campus, going to class, working in the greenhouse, seeing all my friends who I’ve dearly missed.  Today, I went to three classes, watered plants, and saw a bazillion people from my long-ago sophomore year.  And though I do desperately miss Melbourne and its electric atmosphere, the campus is still too beautiful to be taken for granted.  I cannot believe that I am actually an upperclasswoman, that half of my undergraduate career is done.  Now I only have the four classes, MCAT preparation, and my screenplay to worry about for the next four months.  This brings me to the blog.  If any of you were even remotely curious (or excited perhaps?) about why I will continue to post on Spider Diaries, I will tell you why.  I have decided (and the powers that be have agreed) to create a space for the perspective Pre-Med student.  I will continue to post about everyday life because that is an integral part of the entire college experience but during the junior year students with a pre-med concentration look forward to LOTS of science and math classes, an MCAT prep course, the MCAT, faux (or trial) interviews with the faculty, and (ultimately) applying to the big MS–Medical School.  This is treacherous territory, my friends.  So this year’s blog will have a Pre-Med twist.

Talk to you later!
