Why Richmond?
I had a long and circuitous road to Richmond, which is detailed in my first post. In the end, Richmond offered more of what I wanted than the other schools I got into. Namely, a reasonably sized student body and a great program for students studying international affairs and/or history. Finaally, in the interest of full disclosure, I’m an Army ROTC cadet, and UR’s program offered me a full tuition scholarship. This was of course a factor–but not the sole one. Money talks, but the other aspects of UR talk just as loudly.
